Our 29th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. March and Celebration is rapidly approaching, and we are standing in the need of your thoughts and prayers for great weather and a glitch-free celebration. Our hope is that the many months of planning and negotiating will culminate in an engaging six mile march and a fun five hour celebration.
This event is an important piece of a much larger year-long MLK365 strategy to focus the community on the issues and practices of fairness, equity and justice. The Celebration provides the community with a highly interactive opportunity to touch, teach and engage young people about civic engagement and character development.
