Greetings!
Our 29th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. March and Celebration is rapidly approaching, and we are standing in the need of your thoughts and prayers for great weather and a glitch-free celebration. Our hope is that the many months of planning and negotiating will culminate in an engaging six mile march and a fun five hour celebration.

This event is an important piece of a much larger year-long MLK365 strategy to focus the community on the issues and practices of fairness, equity and justice. The Celebration provides the community with a highly interactive opportunity to touch, teach and engage young people about civic engagement and character development. We hope that you will invite your friends and family to the Martin Luther King Jr. March and Celebration. LET THE COUNTDOWN BEGIN!

My father, marched from Selma to Montgomery.I have met Arun and Sunanda Gandhi, while they were here in the US in 1989. They were helping to carry the dream of M.Gandhi and Martin Luther King Jr.Thank you all who continue to keep the dream alive as our work is not done yet. Yes, we must be the change we want to see.Not easy at times, but possible. Blessings, and I hope to be walking with you soon!Margaret gallica_4@hotmail.com

  3. I love Dr. King's message and vision for not an "equal" society, but instead a colorblind one! That is how we have raised our five children, not to judge people by the color of their skin but by the content of their character, good or bad.

I was so thankful that we were able to find not only Dr. King's "I have a dream" speech on You Tube, but also some of his other speeches, and news interviews of him and his detractors such as Malcomb X. Those combined with text from all of his speeches and letters gave our family a clear view of how great a visionary Dr. King truly was.

It is sad that many people have corrupted Dr. King's message and instead want people judged by "who they are and what they represent" rather than the choices they make to have good character, or bad. The ads for this site on Channels 3 and 58 have done that very thing. What a shame they demean this wonderful man and his message in this way.

Today, I went to the beach with my children.
I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear."
She put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a
hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back!
LoL I know this is totally off topic but I had to
    tell someone!

    I write a leave a response each time I appreciate a article
on a website or if I have something to contribute to
the discussion. It is a result of the fire communicated in the article I browsed.
And after this article "Community Letter from MLK365".
I was excited enough to create a thought ;-) I do have 2 questions
for you if you don't mind. Could it be only me or do a few of the remarks come across like left by brain dead people? :-P And, if you are posting on additional online sites, I would like to follow anything new you have to post. Could you make a list the complete urls of your shared pages like your linkedin profile, Facebook page or twitter feed?
